Just to update here, we got our First Stage approval yesterday, they are sending the paperwork to Brazil already
We sent our paperwork on Aug. 07 !

We got our AOR! Just for everyone's information, the email was sent last night at 10 pm... seems like they are usually sent at night? Also my courier tracking said that our package was received Aug. 9, but the AOR says Aug. 10.

Congrats muchaco and AnARcHo! Such great news =) I kind of feel like my application will be next since its right below the big group of people who have gotten AORs and such, but I know that's not a good thing to rely on. =(

AnARcHo, I noticed you aren't on the spreadsheet, if you provide louie_ann with these details you can be added:

date your app was sent:
date it was received by CIC:
your visa office:
when you got your medicals done:

I got AOR and sponsorship approval by email. I think a better question is, for those who provided an email address, who received AOR/approval by email.

When i first got added to the august spreadsheet i thought, " im not going to kee[ checking and checking like these crazies in this forum" ...BOY WAS I WRONG! Im addicted and since reading everyones lasts posts, im worried. haha We sent our application on 8th of august and havent gotten anything yet? But i do know its still in the " time frame" but it is begining to drive me Insane! haha So I have officially become a "crazie" as well.

munchkin80....50-50 as to whether it is email or snail mail for the approval....all aor's are by email so that doesn't help....but usually within 2 days to 2 weeks of receiving aor one gets sponsorship approval!!!! so not to much longer.....
