May be I should do that but I wonder if that changes anything

I had emailed CPC-Ottawa recently and the officer who replied saying "we cant tell you when the application will be finalized etc etc etc" is the same officer who holds my file currently. I see the Officer name KT0XXXX in his email signature and the same KT0XXXX appears on my last GCMS notes. If he picked my file to reply back to my email, he might as well send me PPR if he could. But no, why will they go easy on us? I am so pissed.

EE is all CIC cares about. A friend/colleague of mine applied through EE in August 2015 -- a full year after I applied through CEC. By December 2015 she was landed. Meanwhile, a full year after she applied, I'm still waiting and there is no end in sight. I think CIC wants us all to die of old age so they'll never have to process us.

got ppr finally after almost 23 months....4 months wasted cause they didn't
correctly update the PCC sent from HK!!!

hang on....all of you waiting will get PPR.

now next wait for passport return....hehe....from one wait to next...hopefully the last wait now..

Very happy for you, congrats. But at this point I will believe I'll get PPR only if it actually happens. Thoroughly disillusioned with CIC.

Even going to our MPs isn't helping. I think we need to take our stories to the media again. Sure, CIC eventually processed some backlogged CEC applicants, but now that they've done that they think the stories have blown over and they can get away with ignoring the rest of us until we die of old age. Enough is enough. Anyone else on board?
