HI Admin,
Can you please update my status?

AOR: May 16
In process ECAS: May 20
BG Completed: June 13
Test Invite Received: June 25
Test Date: July 9th
Test Completed: July 14

Notes:
FBI PCC requested May 16, Uploaded May 30.
Test Window: June 26 - July 16

why they ask FBI PCC? have you lived there more than six months in last five years?

Hi guys, I am new and I have a silly question:

Where does on the new online Citizenship Tracker say "Decision Made"?

The reason I am asking this is that there is a column (Decision made) on the spreadsheet (see link below) that people update. Where on the Citizenship Tracker do they get that "Decision Made" status from?

Link to spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...WQetmW0DsPX7Bgt5QQ9HTbP7I/edit#gid=1316748968
Decision made is for paper applicants (ECAS). But online applicants go with Language, Prohibitions and Physical Presence (LPP)

Congrats. for the e-certificate did you receive an email to create acount in the portal ? Or they just ask you during ceremony ?

I too submitted FP on 26th June and did the test on the same day - Test was updated to completed on 27th June but received no updates on the FP/BG. I called IRCC on 12th July and the agent mentioned it was still too early for them to have received the fingerprints. He requested I submit the receipt provided by the 3rd party agency I submitted the FP through a web form as 'Proof of Compliance'. I did that as requested on 12th July - I received acknowledgement via email today that the document has been received and added to my file. I guess it's just a waiting game now.

Update on tracker on 19th July 2023:

Fingerprints Received: 16th July 2023
Background Verification Completed: 17th July 2023

Our citizenship tests were marked as completed on July 12th, but received an email yesterday asking us (me and my wife) with "INVITATION TO AN IN-PERSON INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS" at Kitchener office on August 1st. The interview invitation letter mentioned "On the day of this event, you will be interviewed by a citizenship officer or agent to verify your identity
and the documents you provided at the time you applied for citizenship."

Not sure the reason for this interview as I don't think everyone is getting them. AFAIK, there should be nothing special with our case as our profile is pretty straight forward (moved in work permit, switched to PR and applying for citizenship now and only traveled to India and USA couple of times).

Let me know if anyone else in this group called for such an interview or attended one, otherwise will update this group once my interview is complete.
