I currently hold a valid US visit visa and have also visited Canada in 2019 for one month. Since my Canada Visit visa expired, I applied a new one on 4th July 2021 and biometrics updated on 3rd September 2021. Since there was no action on my application, I reapplied on 17th April 2022 from Delhi, India. Both applications are live on the dash board but the review process has still not started on any of my applications. My son is a Canadian citizen and has invited me for 1 month and that invite has also been submitted by me. It's quite frustrating.....

I applied for my Mother's application on March 25 via the new ircc portal. Here is our timeline:

Application submitted: March 25
Biometrics invitation letter: March 25
Biometrics submitted: April 07 (Status updated to completed the same day).

No updates after that.

I thought to send inquiry notes via the web form. There they first give you a caution to first check the processing times for the respective country. If the application time is still within the processing times for that country (this keeps varying), they clearly state that they will not respond to the web form query. I am just in a fix whether to submit the web form or not. Might do anyway; what's the loss.

If your application is with in processing time range , You will get standard reply
Webform is not going to help you

Same with my mom's application. Biometrics completed on 19th April and Biometric Number got update but status still shows "

I've tried to contact IRCC multiple times but no luck. sent webforms as well, again no response yet. I did apply VV application from Canada only and no update after Eligibility review.
