So, I just got a fingerprint request from Vancouver office. In the email, they mentioned that fingerprints expire within 1 year. But, there is no update in my tracker since November 5 when I got GU 1. Those of you who did not receive any update since November 5 should expect fingerprint request soon.

if you got the email today, your account should be updated tomorrow or day after. Same happened with me. Nothing for 5-6 days after GU2. Then email for FP and account updated the next day. Find it weird how they are sending out FP requests galore now.

That's not the case..I got FP request last Wednesday after 2 GUs and everything is still in progress with no updates on portal or otherwise...

They will give you clear instructions on what to do and how to send the documents. So, stay tight for a day or two.
