Dear Friends,

I have a question for you and would appreciate any advice.

I got my background check completed on November 1, 2022.

On November 15, 2022, the tracker showed that my test is scheduled for November 18 until December 8.

However, I have not received any emails as of yet from the CIC.

Should I contact them or keep waiting? I checked the junk folder- nothing there yet.

Thank you so much for any input.
I got background check completed on the first nov. And GU on 3rd nov intill now no test invite or anything in my tracker. You're lucky

Hey everyone, I need some advice/suggestion from you guys -

Under Q.13 - Have you ever held immigration or citizenship in any other country other than canada? I answered "Yes" and listed my country of citizenship (by birth) but did not list B1/B2 US visa which I hold since 2017. However, I did declare my 5 trips to the US in the residence calculator.

Should I send a webform to them and let them know that since I was 18 I only held US B1/B2 visa which I forgot to mention? Is that a misrepresentation from my part? Kinda worried guys..any suggestion/advice would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

B1/B2 is just a visa. You're not an immigrant to the usa . Don't worry about that at all .

Thank you! Mine still shows as " Not Started" even after passing the test. 2 days back. It was never updated to "In Progress". Not sure if this is a common occurrence or not.
I gave the test yesterday so will give it some time... Still everything is in progress for me. Last update was Nov 10 when they sent invite for test

Could it be because of our sponsorship applications we currently have at IRCC? Because I received email from IRCC yesterday regarding about my other sponsorship applications, and I thought may be the delay is due to that as well.
That could be a possibility, but I still do think that it’s a bit strange that all of a sudden IRCC seems to have gone silent!

Most people see some sort of movement within a few days of the GU. That said, I have seen on this forum (I think it was a month or so back), where someone got a GU. Then it took about 15 days before they got a second GU.

At least we know that it’s not something that’s gone wrong on one of our files, since all of us who got a GU around Nov 5 have not heard anything.

Hi just a quick question that does the IRCC tracker updates couple times a day or just one time because I check my status once a day because I heard that they updates it once a day 6 am pst
I am not sure of that. But my guess would be that it’s just once, from all of the posts I’ve seen from others on this forum.

My ecas shows ‘decision made’ since November 11, However other tracker shows Language skills, Physical presence and Prohibitions ‘in process’. Does anyone know how long they take to send oath invitation if that’s the next step?

Congrats. Is your test status currently "In progress"? or "Not started" on your tracker?

Still waiting for email. DM October 29th. I did call them and they just told me to wait, but they also confirmed that the decision was to grant citizenship, so it's just a formality now :)
Hello there, any progress on yours? we have not received anything and tried to connect with IRCC but is hard to get through the line.
