I called IRCC today inquiring about my application submitted on april 16. I have not received an Application number but they told me they are doing criminal check for me and my spouse. What does this mean and is this exiting news?

Maybe they are skipping AOR? That would be great news! But sometimes the call centre agents make mistakes :S

How good of a news is that? He even confirmed that they are working on everyones application. Processing time is still 12 months. He said latest people will come will be june of 2021 for the april applocations. I confirmed with him many timea and he said he was not mistaking. We should have more people call to confirm this news

It’s implausible a call centre agent can make any kind of guarantee like this.
