Hi all! I am also an April 2020 applicant but have only received an AOR so far. What the hell is going on? I can see from the tracker that 50% of applicants from August 2020 already had their test. Does anyone know anything about the IRCC’s approach? Are they prioritizing certain locations/countries of origin?
My friend is April 2020 applicant and he only received AOR , everything is NOT STARTED

Hi inlandPRfeb17,,

I am also with Mississauga Office like you . I got my DM on Jul 23. I still haven't received Oath invitation.

I believe you got DM on Jul 19 (according to the tracker)

Have you received Oath invitation?

Thanks for letting me know.

Hello,
My Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed in the application dashboard on Aug 24, 2021

Hello,
I received my citizenship test invite on Aug 6 and I completed and (provisionally) passed the test on Aug 20th. You may please update the excel list.
The citizenship portal isn't updated yet saying that I completed the test, but I'm sure that'll happen soon. A few more months to go to Oath of Citizenship, hopefully!
Cheers!

A friend of mine got a "ghost update" today, a ~week after his citizenship test has updated to "Completed".
Is this a precursor for passport pages request, DM, or nothing in particular?

A ghost update is a precursor for a real update. You might see an update on your dashboard soon (potentially DM, if it has been a while since you completed your test).

Good luck!

My VISA/Immigration related luck is really bad! When I applied for the study permit for the first time, it took me 79 days, although most my friends got that in 45-55 days. Then it came to PGWP. It took me 121 days to get that. Before I applied it was around 45 days. Now a days, it is around 1 month. Finally, the PR stuff. PPR processing time was 15 months just before I applied, it is now 18 months for me. From the recent trend, it seems IRCC will bring down the processing time to 12 months. I am pretty sure, when I will be applying for the citizenship, something bad will happen again :p
I posted that in canadavisa forum while I was waiting for my PR passport request, never thought my prediction will come true LOL!
