It takes few days for an official to review your test and ids before marking it as completed on the new tracker. Nothing happens instantly with IRCC.Guys, I have a question. Earlier today I took my online citizenship test and, unofficially, I passed it. When I log into my ECAS, there is still the message "Waiting on you" with the test link. Is this normal?
There are a lot of sampler questions for the citizenship test on you tube run by different people/groups. If keep running through those.Guys, today is the due date in my GCMS notes and I got test invite. After 1 year and a half, finally I got it. Please advise how to prepare for the test except reading the ebook.
The questions are randomly generated so it's no use to ask what's on it. If I were you I would also search you tube and just go through the hundreds of practice questions they have on therehello guys I received email on 11th nov that for online citizenship I'm just wondering which kind of question will be on the test ? and how many % from each categories? can anyone share me their an experances please and thanks.. it all be big help to get idea
IRCC Ottawadoes anyone know the email address of the Ottawa's office?
Everything seems completely random. It took 18 months for us to get the test invite, within 3 months to oath seems to be a best wish fantasy. Some people seem to get through quite quickly even without urgent processing, and some much slower. As I can see they've made it through only 1/2 of the Jan/Feb applicant's and meanwhile some non urgent May applicants are done. It doesn't really seem to be attached to an office. I wonder if it's attached to your riding... probably about who's handling your case but I still wonder...I passed my test end of april. Everything was completed / DM end of June. Nothing since then. Very disappointed
Yes. Within 3 months is their wish list. The real time frame is 1-6+ months. There are a lot of people still waiting on their 2019 applications to finalizeyes. They have had it all since before my interview.
It's about numbers. They want to meet their target for 2020/2021 fiscal year. They pick the easiest applications that contribute to their target, and toss other applications aside, so they can meet their targets as soon as possible without any regard to those whose files were tossed aside. It seems random to us, but it's well-thought by IRCC to protect itself.Everything seems completely random. You don't return it. They'll ask you to cut it into 4 pieces at the oath ceremonyGuys, I have a question. I know that before getting the citizenship, a candidate needs to return their PR card. At which point does this happen? Is it during the oath ceremony or later?
But if you have to travel after your oath, how do you return to Canada? You don't return it. They'll ask you to cut it into 4 pieces at the oath ceremony
They'll ask you before you destroy it if you plan to travel within the next 4 weeks. Although, technically, you can apply for a passport from outside Canada. It's just a matter of asking someone to pick up your citizenship from your mailbox in Canada once it's delivered then apply for passport through the mail-in option. Once your passport is ready, you can have the person mail it to you wherever you are. That said, you must be in Canada for your oath ceremonyBut if you have to travel after your oath, how do you return to Canada?
Does it matter what you reply? Sounds like they make you destroy it either way? They'll ask you before you destroy it if you plan to travel within the next 4 weeks.
