If you are in Vancouver it is much slower (4-6 weeks wait from DM/AIP to interview letter) from what I saw in the February applicants group
Yes, this is AIP.Hi everyone - I just received a message in the mycic called "Eligibility Passed". Is this the Approved in Principle letter? There is no update in ECAS and "Review of Eligibility" has changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."
The text says:
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.
Congrats!!!I received my interview letter today, it's scheduled for next tuesday in London.
Good luck everyone
Did you have a background check? What additional documents did you get requested if you don't mind my asking please?I received my interview letter today, it's scheduled for next tuesday in London.
Good luck everyone
Yes, so one of the documents they requested was a police certificate which took me about a month to deliver and then a week later I got my AIP. We never received SA but it said decision made on sponsor's side in ecas so I called CIC on tuesday and the agent told my application has been approved and that I should receive the interview letter by the 26th... I got it the next day.Did you have a background check? What additional documents did you get requested if you don't mind my asking please?
I believe these things all helpful, EU citizen. lived in 4 different countries in the last 10 years and have been married less than two years.Yes, so one of the documents they requested was a police certificate which took me about a month to deliver and then a week later I got my AIP. Considering they requested additional documents and it took me a month to submit, the process has been fairly quick as i submitted my application on the 26th April of last year.
I don't know if this helps but I'm an EU citizen. I've lived in 4 different countries in the last 10 years and have been married less than two years.
