They will tell you the location i the interview letter.

okay thank you
i'm not sure why its taking that long for interview

The interview will be at the office closest to your address on your application.
If you are in Vancouver it is much slower (4-6 weeks wait from DM/AIP to interview letter) from what I saw in the February applicants group

Hi everyone - I just received a message in the mycic called "Eligibility Passed". Is this the Approved in Principle letter? There is no update in ECAS and "Review of Eligibility" has changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

The text says:

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class.

Did you have a background check? What additional documents did you get requested if you don't mind my asking please?
Yes, so one of the documents they requested was a police certificate which took me about a month to deliver and then a week later I got my AIP. We never received SA but it said decision made on sponsor's side in ecas so I called CIC on tuesday and the agent told my application has been approved and that I should receive the interview letter by the 26th... I got it the next day.
Considering they requested additional documents and it took me a month to submit, the process has been fairly quick as i submitted my application on the 26th April of last year.
I don't know if this helps but I'm an EU citizen. I've lived in 4 different countries in the last 10 years and have been married less than two years.

Thank you for such a detailed reply. I appreciate it. And congratulations to you.

I now have Decision Made on both sides in ECAS. My closest office is Calgary so hoping I get the landing interview as quickly as @kfrench did (4-5 days from their posts in here). Super excited. This has been a great little community of shared waiting to be a part of :) I'm so happy that it's coming to the end of the road for everyone!
