Received the PR card on Thursday 9 May. The turnaround on the PR card was really quick, like 2 weeks.

Landed this morning, process was pretty seamless. Got there at 9.45AM for 10AM appointment, they called us up at around 10.05AM. Answered some questions around being convicted/deported/denied entry and then some about confirm the following (address, date of birth, name spelled correctly etc)...

Is that Vancouver based applicants though? I saw some from Calgary that got them quite quickly, but Toronto seemed to be slower on that end

They said its an option, but make sure you check the time to process. You have to apply from outside Canada. We are going to Asia for two weeks and it says that Hong Kong will take 43 days to process.

Nope, only to move back to when you return. They will cancel all Canadian visas upon giving you CoPR, and then you have to wait for PR Card to travel internationally

Which office is this for? You need to email them with reasons why you need to reschedule, and they will reschedule. I think both applicant and sponsor have to be there (not sure), but they will reschedule for a work trip out of the city.

Meanwhile Etobicoke office is churning out invites, it's so frustrating to have be in the dark by virtue of location. Also been waiting since end of Jan for Vancouver

Where are you moving from and where will you be moving to? We did Cape Town to Vancouver about a year ago.
