Has anyone heard anything relating to landing interviews in Vancouver? I recall the last one being a DM on 5th Jan that got a letter last week.

The interview will be at the office closest to your address on your application. If you are in Vancouver it is much slower (4-6 weeks wait from DM/AIP to interview letter) from what I saw in the February applicants group

How does CIC contact you to arrange the landing interview? It is via email or a phone call? Thanks

Mine says it started June 6, 2018.

We received a medical request towards the end of September, got it done last week. In DT Vancouver, managed to get everything done at the same place (bloods/xray/physician). Total cost was $315 :'( I've updated our timeline in the signature

Logged into CIC account, and OWP has been approved. This morning it read currently reviewing eligibility.

The 'submitted' date is the date that you linked the CIC online account to the application. Apparently this date is not relevant for the application., the date received (13 June) is the key date. I believe that if you can link it then you should receive AOR and won't be sent back.

It would be very difficult to use photos as proof as there is no context of what is going on in the pictures, and whether you both actually live there or whether you were just together at the apartment/house when the photo was taken. Do you currently live together?

If you get a TRV you can apply inland spousal sponsorship with an open work permit. The work permit will be processed within 4 months. Then she can stay in Canada until the PR process in complete. That way you can start life in Canada whilst the PR process is still going on.
