They do not seem to have a number for outside of Canada. Try using the web form.

I think they tell you a date prior to your application date. I called twice and they keep telling me they are current processing April 3rd applications.

Yeah im April 5 too! Lets hope for the best! I hope it wont return...im getting worried and anxious too :'(

My application was received on April 4 (well atleast thats what my immigration consultant told me).
Waiting for my AOR
So this email which I am supposed to receive will it come to my email account or will it be sent to my husband (PA) or will it go to my consultant?
I have one more question...I did not write the name and DOB on the back of pictures although I have explained in detail the occasion and names of people in the picture, so will it be a problem?

Hahha that's funny. i am april 4 applicant, i called them and they told me they are working on april 3 applicants. So the answers from them are not reliable. i lost hope and just waiting for my package to be returned.

The AOR is sent to the sponsor email unless you have a representative. It looks like you have a consultant. So the chances of the email going to your consultant are high.
They ask you to write the name and dob in case one of your pictures gets misplaced, they can track the file and put it back to your file. This is very unlikely and I would not worry too much about it. It should be fine.

No need to translate chat/conversation logs. Some peeps translates them but it is not mandatory. All they want to see is that you have continuous and constant communication between each other and for that if the name and the time logs are in English, that would be sufficient.

What your wife got, was the request to link her application, this is the official AOR.

Sponsorship approval is different and states explicitly that you have been approved to sponsor.

This is just acknowledging receipt of your application.

It is normal for both the sponsor and PA to receive an AOR email. The contents of the email will be different depending on if you are the PA or sponsor.

so annoyed!!! dont mind if file is being returned but it is so late already to not know the status of our application, given its been a month in sending. so frustrated and irritated and sad!! worked so hard on the application... now i m worried it might be sent back because i send 2015 NOA.. ugh people with similar timeline please update with your status !!!

I got my AOR today morning! My application was received in the mail room on April 6. I was able to link my application 2 days before I received the AOR.
