Me too , it's been 11 days since decision made ... was truly expecting PPR last week . Hate all this waitingIt's been 17 days since our application was approved and DM shown on ECAS. Still waiting for that golden PPR email
Where did you hear this ? I'still been 11 days since DM but I too am from a visa exempt country.Same situation with my wife. We are still waiting for PPR. How ever she is from a visa exempt country I was reading that she may not get a PPR request and just get the COPR... Not sure if this is true or not though.
Hi yes I think it is normal . Mine was transferred to Ottawa VO and then transferred again to Mississauga.Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone is/has been in the same situation? My husband currently resides in the States on a Work Permit. We received an email letting us know that our file was transferred to the Ottawa office back in June. We received another message in our GC account this morning telling us our file has been transferred to the New York office. Is this normal?
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks

Oh ok ,that's interesting . I'm actually already in canada on a visitor visa .Hi guys,
You might not get a passport request email but you definitely should receive some types of correspondence that will instruct you how to proceed. I am only saying this because on my wife's PPR email there's a section that talks about if you don't need a visa. So I'm assuming that they should contact you somehow to let you know about this.
The section goes as follows:
If you do not require a visa to enter Canada:
· Please submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and one for each accompanying family member.
· Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 12 months from the date of this letter.
. Please note that you cannot use a Diplomatic, Official or Military passport to travel to Canada to become a permanent resident of Canada. You must be in possession of an ordinary passport.
You're very welcome, sure thing keep me updated. It'll be interesting to know.Oh ok ,that's interesting . I'm actually already in canada on a visitor visa .
