Having just been through the Outland process (whislt actually being in Canada) I would recommend doing Inland. With Outland you would have no interim rights, whereas Inland will enable you to apply for an open work permit while you wait, meaning it doesn't really matter if your application takes...

It's funny, we're once again in the same situation! We're now in Hamilton, and like you I know they read my emails because they changed my address recently when I asked them to! Still no news for us, just waiting for the postman each day...

It means good news is on the way! I got the Pre-Arrival email a couple of weeks before I got Decision Made in ECAS. It means you're at the end of your journey so congrats!

@daniel42 I got Decision Made - Approved in my GCKey yesterday. No more news on my CoPR but it seems we're at least a little closer now....

Interesting, yours is pretty much exactly the same as mine. Request for photos came through on April 10th, and they arrived in Vienna on April 16th. Had no communication since then, but I emailed them last night requesting an update, we'll see if they reply with anything useful.

I also didn't get any email confirmation regarding Decision Made. ECAS changed this week, but GCKey still shows as in process. Last week they requested photos from me from my CoPR and I'd anticipating the next thing we'll receive is that in the post, probably no more emails!

Lots of good news coming out of Vienna VO - congrats everyone! I got Decision Made in ECAS today! GCKey still hasn't updated, but I've submitted photos to Vienna and they've been received, so am expecting my IMM 5688/COPR letter sent to me very soon!

Getting so very close now... pre-arrival email last week, photos for IMM 5688 received in Vienna today, BGC changed to in process in GC Key today...

Thankfully I've not been asked for it twice, but I know they only treat a police check as valid for 6 months, perhaps it went over this time?

From experience, emailing the VO is pointless you'll just get a reply with no new information just "you're application is in a queue to be processed". I don't know about my BGC, it's never updated to in process in GCKey, but who knows. If I'm getting the pre-arrival email that typically means...
