. he also said the pa looks uncomfortable in the pictures that we sent.. i dont even understand what that means.. he usually doesnt smile in pictures but thats just him maybe thats why they think he looks uncomfortable idk.. hes not photogenic how can you say he doesnt look comfortable? this confused me so much i sent 70+ pictures of us with family with friends us alone chat logs plane tickets everything..
another thing the office wrote was that it is unusual for our culture to have such a small wedding ceremony..we specifically said in our paper work that we are going to have a bigger ceremony later on but at the moment we are focusing on saving for my husbands settlement in canada
in the end it said schedule interview pls
i dont know what to do its mid november i still havent received a interview date nor have i recieved any type of email from them asking for additional documents .. the note was made sept 22.. what do u guys think?
My husband (Sponsor) is super bad at taking pictures. He looks incredibly creepy in them too lmao.
He was laughing and smiling with me ALL the time, but he JUST WASN'T physically able to smile for the pictures!! I had to catch him off-guard to take a laughing picture ;D
We also did not have a wedding ceremony. We had an adventure-type "celebration" just the two of us after getting married and explained why we would have a proper wedding later on, in Canada. We felt really lucky that we still got approved, yay!
They usually don't really accept answers like not having enough money or being busy with school or any other "excuses" as they call them for not having a wedding ceremony and a honeymoon.
As for the interview, it takes time for them to schedule it.. People say it could take up to 6 months..
Perhaps because they got the dates wrong and thought you married really quickly, maybe that's why they scrutinized your application harder. Sorry to hear and I hope everything goes smooth from here on!
