Hi everyone!

I have received an email from the Manila Immigration office about free pre-arrival services twice already. Our background check changed to In progress last October 19 so it's almost been a month. No PPR yet, thus far but I'm curious... Has anyone experienced the same thing as us? Idk why they keep sending me the pre-arrival services email...

I think there are a lot of us - MVO applicants - who are in the same boat. It is already annoying.

bad news everyone i ordered gcms notes and they came in today.. the officer on sept 22 put in a note first of all saying that our relationship started summer 2015 and shortly after we got engaged meanwhile we were in a relationship since summer 2014 and got engaged in summer 2015.can someone please help on what i should do about how they have the dates wrong of the relationship.. can i do a case enquiry about it?


. he also said the pa looks uncomfortable in the pictures that we sent.. i dont even understand what that means.. he usually doesnt smile in pictures but thats just him maybe thats why they think he looks uncomfortable idk.. hes not photogenic how can you say he doesnt look comfortable? this confused me so much i sent 70+ pictures of us with family with friends us alone chat logs plane tickets everything..

another thing the office wrote was that it is unusual for our culture to have such a small wedding ceremony..we specifically said in our paper work that we are going to have a bigger ceremony later on but at the moment we are focusing on saving for my husbands settlement in canada

in the end it said schedule interview pls

i dont know what to do its mid november i still havent received a interview date nor have i recieved any type of email from them asking for additional documents .. the note was made sept 22.. what do u guys think?

Hi,

1) Write them a letter explaining everything you wanna let them know about dates and other concerns. Request for interview waiver telling them that you found the notes indicating scheduling interview...
2) Send additional proofs addressing concerns of your visa office.

You cand send it through:

1) CSE
2) By email
3) Courier

Yes I got an email for additional documents on 28oct
I sent them by 9th nov
Background check got changed on 17th nov
And probably on sat ecas changed into decision made
I hope it will be a positive answer...

They asked my original marriage papers(bcz I sent them photocopies)
Relationship proofs
More marriage explanation
On going communication proofs
Over all he called my relationship nd marriage not genuine nd gave duration of 30days to send anything else mainly explanation
Thats why m worried abt the decison..bcz after that haunted letter I wasnt expecting anythin this fast

Normally they would ask for an interview when it is about relationships so you should be ok

you are lucky you were asked for additional doc.. i got gcms notes saying to request an interview in sept and i still havent been asked for an interview or additional docs im going to visit my mp today
