Thanks for the link. I checked it again, but it only shows " what are you applying for?""who are you sponsor?"
There is no third option for country! So weird! Is anyone can tell me how long is the processing time for Hong Kong office? Thanks!
I've updated the spreadsheet to have all the correct VO times next to each applicant. Hong Kong is currently at 13 months.

in the first box you need to select "sponsoring a family member" and then second box is "spouse or common-law partner outside canada". then the third box appears.

Congratulations Fel2016. I've input your details into the spreadsheet (link in my signature) so you can keep up with how other applicants from similar VO's and timelines are doing. Feel free to update it as you get more information :)
Thanks Gary_87! I updated, will continue to post as more dates become available.

Thanks for checking it for me.
I did the exactly the same steps, but it still shows 17 months.

Before you jump to conclusions be aware that many people are in the same situation as you who havent received AOR yet. There are people who submitted before you who havent got AOR yet. SO hold in there and dont expect the worst yet. its been 21 days since your application was received and it can take upwards of 37 days, so give it time.

as for those red flags, many people have similar situations also. But if they were the circumstances of your marriage and it was genuine, then you will be fine. They may request interviews, but as you are applying through Vienna, it is unlikely. You'll get AOR soon. Theyd only return the application if there were things missing.

Good luck!
@Gary_87 - Thanks for that
I have no worry for the interview - there is enough time.
I will take deep breath and redirect my attention to wait.

No worries. Its annoying waiting but it will make it even longer if you worry before even the first stage. Youll be fine :)

Yes, I am sponsoring my wife who is living in Germany. My Application package received by Mississuaga CPO on April 8th (as per Tracking #), no word yet.

After going through this forum my heart beat is ABNORMALY increasing and may develop heart problems due to number of REG FLAGS:

1. We had previous relationship (I lived with common-law for about 20 years, separated for 6years now. While she had a year long marriage ending with divorce not long ago)
2. I have children (she doesn't)
3. I am older than her by 14 years
4. After our initial communication (late October 2015) to our marriage (Mid-December 2015) is very short period. (the fact is we were born and raised in same neighbourhood till I move away for education and job - so our relatives are very close to each others. and we had attachment of memories at young age but no intimate intention at that time. we had no communication for the past 15 years but we seek each other silently. After one week query into each other's current life, we were happy to fall into others' arm. )
5. My quick first time visit plan for 2 weeks was made to include quick marriage ceremony - very short time together. The intention was to save time - we had no idea of this process at that time.
6. The Marriage was not attended by anyone from either side due to quick plan and distance (but we are going to have big one on her arrival)
7. When submitting the application, I did not pay the Landing Fee ($499? I thought it is better to pay when cleared on the other side)
8. We haven't established links yet such as financial one (having common account) etc but we will consider one soon
9. She lives as PR and did not feel the need to apply for citizenship (Passport is easy travel due to schengen visa to VISIT Canada during the process than PR Traveling docs)
10. We talk every day using WhatsApp for more than 1-3 hours (even more when both are off-work) and the problem with this is you can not print CALL LOGS in details. I presented 'screen shots' of my cell phone of WhatsApp Call logs.

I guess, I better expect RETURN of the package than AOR :(
You do have some very serious but not insurmountable red flags. I would do some research on this forum about people who have had to go for interviews and what kind of evidence the vo likes to see. The period after your wedding is very important in your situation. You can consider sending additional post wedding information once your application goes to a local vo. Not trying to scare you just help you be prepared.

Well CIC have been sending out the good news today. Received my AOR1 this morning and 4 hours later I got an invite to IEC 2 year working holiday visa! Less stress on the PR now.

Does anyone know if I should let CIC know once my status changes from Visitor to Worker?

I don't think you need to. Although it probably doesn't hurt. You can have dual intent and change visa's while waiting for your outland PR.

This happened to me once I had my old application in before I pulled it. I filed the application, my IEC ended and I changed to a visitor, then my application got transfered to London, then I got another IEC visa and flagpoled. I didn't update CIC at all, but this was back in 2013 so who knows. Possibly seek advice in the main forum as some other people may know more about status changes while a PR app is in process.

Congratulations by the way! Now just sit back, carry on with life as normal and get PR when it comes! Excellent news.

I'm not sure you need to either, but just to be sure once your file is transferred to your VO you can send them a Case Specific Enquiry letting them know. On the page for this it says: "You wish to report important changes, such as a change in address, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in employment or urgent requests." under when to notify the CIC of changes.

Seems Australia is at 11 months, the UK at 14, USA at 15 and within canada is 16.

So fairly safe to say this is inaccurate.
Italy is 12.

Yeah, updated Rome on the spreadsheet. I think its fairly inaccurate honestly, considering Ottawa has been taking about 2-3 months on the Feb thread.

Saying that there theres a bit of longer wait coming from the London camp from what I've been seeing. It's still 80% of apps average though so sure things will move quicker than the new times.

It's completely inaccurate. This is the exact same as it was before they changed it to condense the processing times into all offices in one time. Every time they change the way processing times appear everyone worries, when in fact absolutely nothing has changed.

Please, please, continue using spreadsheets and threads to gauge how long your application to take.

Thanks! I agree. Rome actually seems to take 3-8 months. I saw someone go through in 3 months and the slowest at 8. Not many Spousal applicants going through Rome, I think. Italy is a small country too with not many expats. I don't think we have any red flags (except that we had a city hall wedding with only 7 people and a small dinner afterwards, but we've been married for 7 years now, also my husband had cancer 4 years ago). I included everything in the application. Praying everything goes quickly so we can find flights and get organised.
