I have an unlimited talk text and data plan from WIND mobile for $45 CAD a month. You have to catch them when they have their holiday plans ;D.Gary_87 said:Im really excited to move back to canada ... but not to have to deal with wind, rogers, fido etc again.
We need a post PR section with tips like these. I've been living away from home so long. I can't wait to return. We can keep in touch here and let each other know how things are going and any good tips.Decoy24601 said:I have an unlimited talk text and data plan from WIND mobile for $45 CAD a month. I think that's a great idea. The only downside to WIND is they don't offer LTE yet and don't have the most reliable coverage. Shaw just bought them, so I expect them to have LTE and stronger coverage within a few years. It's still way more affordable than Fido or anything like that. Most Canadian cellphone plans remind me of how plans used to be in the US about 6-8 years ago.neetwo80 said:We need a post PR section with tips like these. I've been living away from home so long. Yeah all the Italian companies here are switching to fiber and we pay about $40can dollars a month for high speed DSL. Unlimited cell phone plan for 30 a month. There's a lot more competition between companies here.Decoy24601 said:I think that's a great idea. The only downside to WIND is they don't offer LTE yet and don't have the most reliable coverage. London and Australia in general have quite high prices. Canada has high rent and home prices. That's gonna eat up most of the salary. I hope this changes. when you cross the border in Niagara, you can visit a real estate agency and be shocked by the difference. I've been looking at renting. We also have to think about bugs. http://www.bedbugregistry.com/ Because this is an issue too that I hope I don't have to deal with and have experiences in TO.Gary_87 said:Im really excited to move back to canada ... but not to have to deal with wind, rogers, fido etc again.

Thanks! Wondering if Decoy24601 or anyone else can clear some fog for my partner and myself.Decoy24601 said:1: Yes. It's the physician's job to carry out any testing or notify you that you need additional tests, not the CIC. I was notified during my exam that I needed an extra blood test to make sure my kidneys were functioning well, because my BMI is over 25.
2: Yes. Excess demand does not apply to spouses. Even if she had a thyroid condition she would not be denied.
3: No. The CIC won't even be getting to her medical for months when they actually start processing the principal applicant's side.
