Yeah, medical prices can be insane in some places. I would have had to wait 3 months for a medical in Washington as well.

Are you currently living in WA state? If so - we are the same! Oddly, the same. It looks like our app's were even received on the same day!

No, I'm in Vancouver, BC right now . I'm visiting my husband while my application processes.

Yay, the first person from April has received AOR. I should be getting mine in a little less than a week then. I'm an April 6th applicant.

You probably should have waited to send the additional documents as it will be a challenge to get them connected without a UCI number or other information. You may want to consider sending them again once you have some more information. It of course depends on what was missing.

I called CIC and they told be to send the missing documents with the tracking numbers. I hope it should be fine. I m worried that if I send it again. Will it be too confused if they already got it.

remember both sponsor and applicant forms need to be submitted as one application package or it will get returned to you.

does this mean you got AOR 1?

probably should have waited, but wait till they contact you and you get a file number then try contacting them to see if they received it.


I m not sure what's AOR1 means, but my sponsor got his UCI and the application number by email.

I hope everything works out well. The medical condition shouldn't effect their decision though. Family is family and there is no income requirement either. The doctor did reassure us that he didn't think there would be a problem for us. My husband had thyroid cancer 4 years ago and takes hormone supplements and has to get check ups every year. He's been getting biopsies every year after that on the lymph nodes in that area. Sometimes they are larger than other times and they just keep giving him biopsies but everything has been negative. I had shown the doctor I saw for the med exam an official document from the hospital that summarizes his situation. I translated that as well and it was attached to the med exam. The doctor did say that if the cancer had been 6 years ago, they wouldn't have had a second thought about it and I wouldn't have needed to translate the documents. I really hope we're not asked to do more tests and things. My husband has a hospital phobia since what happened 4 years ago.

I hope everything go smooth for you. We also have shown the doctor the last report confirming benignity but the doctor insists a test to be done again. That's why I have the questions I had in the previous post and hopefully someone who knows the processing procedure well can help answer.

Looks like the biopsy is unavoidable, we just don't want to get it done too early and have to redo it again. It costs a a lot and it's not good for the person either.

Aor means cic have acknowldged your application and confirmed its there for processing

Its good news as theyre moving theo if h things.

If you sent the docs with the uci or file number ot should be fine. Only send again if they request it.

If you sent the extra docs without a uci or file number theres a chance theyd get lost. Thats why people aaid send again.

But if you put the uci etc on it shouldnt be a problem.
