Congrats to all those April applicants with DM and PPR!!! :)

Hello all! My husband sent a case specific inquiry on friday through the online system. He basically kept it very brief and said he's inquiring about his permanent residency application and the last document submitted was the police and background checks in August and wanted to know if everything was received and in process.

We are yet to hear back (and we may never)

His ecas status has been stuck on "application received and medical results have been received"
For months!!

So hopefully we hear back. I'm worried they will ask him for an interview and Christmas is around the corner I would like him to be here and landed!

Keep us posted tweetybird.
I hope they would response. On a positive note, at least you had your medical done and received, unlike some of us who is still waiting for the medical request :(

What office is your application in? For Mexico we had to submit with the application.

Fingers crossed for some good news for all of us before christmas!! I want my hubby and my dog here

My visa office is Abu Dhabi.
Good luck to us and hope things will speed up soon.

DECISION MADE!!!

I am all kinds of excited right now!!! Will be sending off my photos and passport pages tomorrow then PR is all mine!!

ECAS switched to Decision Made last week. Have not yet received an email or letter about what happens next. Not sure if it will be PPR or directly to COPR? Husband is US Citizen, application is being handled through CPC-Ottawa. We already sent passport photos as part of the initial package.

Most likely you'll just get CoPR. My husband did.

since your husband is a US citizen, and his status has changed to DM, that means he was waived PPR. He should be expecting his COPR in the mail soon. For me, it took 5 days for it to arrive in CT. It will be in the regular mail in a brown envelope. he will not need to sign for it.

Silly me changed my telephone number during this process and didn't give it any thought...it says that I have to declare any changes to my contact information in writing to the CPC Mississauga visa office immediately (and it includes phone number in that list). I have my email for sending off my passport etc but I am not sure if I send my change of phone number first and give the rest a few days, or just send it off together, or would it be horribly bad if I just did not inform them. I doubt that they contact you by phone number... thoughts??

You are correct, thank you! COPR arrived today - he is already here in Canada visiting, we are driving down to Osoyoos this weekend for him to land.
