Hi Upiya, not a word from LVO for us, but our MP inquired and found out that our medicals have been extended a year until April 2016. I hope they don't plan on sitting on our application for the next 10 months before a decision is made. We are not too anxious because my husband is here in Canada on a visitors visa which doesn't expire until February 2016. It would be nice to have this process behind us.Upiya said:ANY NEWS FROM THE MAY APPLICANTS ???
That's awful and so not fair. its been 4 months since my medical and RPRF and we have been told by our lawyer that everything is complete and i can hear from them anytime. Its been a month since they said that. Now we have asked him to get another inquiry to which they reply after a month or so. Its good that you are with your husband but its awful for other peoplekatathfx said:Hi Upiya, not a word from LVO for us, but our MP inquired and found out that our medicals have been extended a year until April 2016. Hope to hear from more May applicants, our little group is pretty quite
I hope you hear something soon, will send positive thoughts your way We know we are incredibly fortunate to be together during this process. I hope everyone who is separated from loved ones hears from CIC soon. A year or more wait is cruel.Upiya said:That's awful and so not fair. its been 4 months since my medical and RPRF and we have been told by our lawyer that everything is complete and i can hear from them anytime. We moved back to Canada with our two dogs when my hubby was 'visiting'taffy7 said:Its going to be 12 months tomorrow from when CIC received our completed documents. 14 months in total waiting to hear back now from LVO. I sent an email and received the regular generic response. Your file is waiting to be reviewed by an officer . I tempted to go home and travel back with my husband. The only thing is we have to bring the cat and i don't want CBSA thinking he is going to live here. Plus he will have to give up his job and we need to rent out the house.
What concerns me is if he don't get PR and i go back to the U.K then we have no job and no home.
Actually London processing time is at 28 months, so it has the potential to be more than year and a half. With that being said, it certainly can take less than the time posted... we have all witnessed that in the various spreadsheets tracking LVO. It all depends on the individual PA's application, visa exempt or not, travel history and country of residence for background checks and security, proof of relationship, and if the visa officer is overloaded with files. Wish I had a crystal ballUpiya said:Our lawyer sent an inquiry and they responded saying it's still within the service time and they will respond in due course. The process takes one and a half year. Does that mean it will take long or can it happen early too? Its 4 months since the medical

If you want to know where CIC is in processing your application you could order your GCMS notes on line. Just google GCMS notes and you will find the link easily. They cost $5 and take a month before you receive them by email. With any luck you will have been contact by LVO before the notes even arriveUpiya said:I know i know but all the checks are before they ask you to pay the fee and medical. They didnt even conduct an interview if proofs were needed. Everythings complete so how long should one wait after the medical? People get it within a month or two. The CIC website states that for PR applicants it can normally take 3 months.
Our lawyer sent an inquiry already n they just said its still in process. Should i still order gcms notes? Does it affect the process? And how do you order notes?katathfx said:If you want to know where CIC is in processing your application you could order your GCMS notes on line. I have ordered GCMS Notes a couple times and found them informative and helpful. Ordering them will not affect the processing of your application. I found this information in another thread and copied it to help you order them:Upiya said:Our lawyer sent an inquiry already n they just said its still in process. Should i still order gcms notes?
