I already done my medical and was sent together with all the documents to cic, but the applicant's remarks in eCAS is still application received. Does anyone here is the same with mine?

Hi, same is the case with me. I think they vil update within a month or whttt.... My application also shows only application received.

most likely it will be MONTHS AND MONTHS before the status in ECAS changes to in process. It does not change until a visa officer is actually processing your file. From my understanding, the majority of the time our files are waiting in line to be picked up. Checking ECAS regularly at this stage isn't going to produce anything positive. It's important to be prepared and accept a majority of the wait will be in the dark.

Guys i don't want to be the bearer of bad news but you may not here anything or have any updates on ecas until you are about to get you PR.Once i get SA i won't here anything for about 6 to 10 months . Watching ecas is going to make you guys go crazy. Your best best is to go to one of the groups that is from your VO and check out what the time lines are like . Check the side bar and see when they got any news.

the visa office is the location your file was sent. it would have been identified in your sponsorship approval letter. so, yes, your visa office is Singapore (according to your stats). You can check the "average" processing times by looking for spreadsheets on this forum. They will either be in the visa office thread, or in monthly applicant threads, such as this one for april applicants. For example: I can look at the trend by going to the ottawa visa office thread or march 2014 applicant thread. I know that both of those threads have spreadsheets that are tracking progress, as does this April thread we are in.

What I usually do is check out threads from before I applied (ie: september 2013, december 2013, ect.) to see where people are in the process. It's important to remember that the monthly threads have applicants from all over the world, so just because someone else is getting PRR or landing, doesn't necessarily mean my visa office is on that same schedule.

Using the processing times listed on the CIC website isn't going to give you the most accurate picture.

Thanks! Just wondering cause in the first application we did, Even its in Stage 1 processing they already put remarks that they received the medical. I cant help to worry again on my second application 6 Long months of waiting for SA then i i was denied. . But its a good sign that they give us SA!

Hello all,

My name is Roger Pedro, i sent my outland application to mississauga and it was received via canada postal at 14/04/2014 by Rizwan Mahmood. since then i received no information from cic. Not even an e-mail or a phone call. I see that people that sended the application after me already have their AOR and SA. I'm starting to get worried and don't know what to do. Should i contact cic? Or go in person to Mississauga to talk with them.

It passed more than 2 months, is it normal?

mine was received on same day and by same person.. still nothing

i called cic many items but they said there is no application in their systems yet.
and today mississauga already started on applications received on Apr24th .

I just want to ask?my husband received email from cic- Mississauga the title imm no application system it says that they confirmed that they received our complete application on April 14, 2014,to sponsor family class and they put my name. Is this Acknowledgement of receipt?

SIGH!!! been looking thru the april 2013 applicants..... just to see how long the waited !!! they all seem to have landed by oct or nov!! hoping all of us can be there too by around that time!!! C'mon NDVO !!!!!!!!! you can do it!!!

Hi... I got the same reply two times . That's not official AOR as they just send response for our enquiry emails that they got our applications on Apr 14 . There is no application number , no UCI in that email.
