most likely you won't get a file number or UCI yet, if the call center gives you anything it will be deemed "temporary" anyway and most likely won't work in ECAS anyway. At this time, you are not that far out of the processing time that CIC will be able to do anything. According to the site, they are processing applications from April 24, so technically that's only 10 days out of the processing time. This is not enough time in CIC's eyes, and it's important to remember even though it says it's processing applications from that date, it does not mean all applications prior to that date are done.
I understand it's frustrating, it's just part of the process. Waiting for sponsorship approval is the most nerve racking part i've experienced so far. As the call center suggested, you have to wait 2 weeks to see if there is a change. Just because they can't see your information or application in the system doesn't mean they don't have your package. It just means it hasn't been entered in the system yet, and there could be reasons for this we have no idea about. Remember we don't know how it works from their end. We can't assume anything with CIC.
The call center will only be able to do inquiries into files every so often. I believe it may be every 90 days, so if you keep calling, they aren't going to be able to continuously send inquiries about your file, they will have to wait until 90 days have passed on the first inquiry they've done.
AGain, at this point there's nothing that can be done. There are many people who wait outside the normal processing time for AOR and SA. Unfortunatley it's just part of the process. My suggestion is to call once a week until you receive some news, and possibly waiting until it's been at least 14 days past normal processing time for you (so not until they change the date status online or you are well above the 55 day processing time). Even though it seems forever for the applicant, waiting less than 2 weeks for AOR or SA is not out of norm for CIC, so they really won't do much to help you at this point. Calling more than once a week will not help your case, and will cause you more undue stress.
