I have applied under CEC on 15th june. My question is does CIO people calling to employer regarding employee. Right now my boss is on vacation. I am tensed about that.

I don't think they will be really looking into your employment at this stage yet. CIC will first check whether you application is complete, then you'll receive your AOR, and after that the real digging starts. Usually it takes about 4-6 weeks to receive your AOR.

My application package was returned on 24 May, but I have not received it yet. I am in India now.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

To which address would have they sent?

This not really a good thing to hear praveenkumar. Feel sorry for that. But they also ask for 2 self addressed envelopes. Didnt u send with your application? If you did. Didnt they have any tracking number on them?

I sent two labels with my Indian address filled in them. I don't have any tracking number on those two labels. Can we have a tracking number on the labels?

Do they ask for labels or envelopes? I am confused

Sorry to hear that

They are asking only for labels. When my previous application has been refused, they did not use my labels. They printed their owns.

Due to some payment issue. I gave a cheque and that might have created the problem. I am yet to receive my returned application package which will have the full details. I am now delayed by 3 months now

I guess it is too soon to apply for GCMS Notes. Normally it takes 6-7 months to change the status to In-Process and then only they start reviewing the eligibility criteria and all. Some of the January and Feb applicants have also applied for GCMS Notes and nothing much has started on their application yet.
