I'm sure you'll be fine! You are well prepared, have been together for a while, got married after knowing each other for 2 years - interview will just reinforce that it's not a MoC, and after that they'll have no reason not to issue your visa!
Good luck,

@ bbccanada. ask your wife to check her email or Click on Application recieved under Permanent Resident Application when you open your E-cas... they may schedule your wife interview.. in mine it showed the date of my wife's interview. ..but tyhe status is still "Application recieved" Check it and let me know... Goodluck

Thanks None and KJG, She checked her email 3 times a day but nothing has yet arrive for any interview. I don't know maybe it is because i didn't apply for the QUEBEC SELECTION CERTIFICATE YET COS THERE WAS A SPOT SHE HAD TO SIGN AND JUST MAILED IT TO ME LAST WEEK TO SEND TO QUEBEC IMMIGRATION. Can that be a reason they are waiting?

I would think that is exactly the reason they are waiting....file is incomplete without it.......they won't go to the next stage without it

For CSQ she doesn't have to submit the original one...she can sign the application and scan it then send it by email for u to print and submit. Maybe that is why u r still waiting . in the CSQ application guide they said to hurry up ... For CSQ they dont recquire the original one what they want is to have yr wife read the conditions of undertake( be aware) and fill out the application and sign.

None and KJG thanks again for your immediate reply and i really appreciate your feed back! None, did you apply through Quebec? If yes, did you apply the CSQ before the interview date for your wife was shedule? I am going to do what you just advice me by letting her reprint the for sign and scan for my to print for the immediately. Honestly, this immigration process is very stressful and cost a lot of money to do anyrhing. Hope our love ones will really erase our stress with some hapiness at the end of the journey. Once again thanks you so much for your time.............

Oh wow, after being so anxious to get out of China you might stay another year?

I would just explain that you are landing and going back to China to wrap up a few things and that your baby would have had a hard time with the tough journey. Landing is very easy.

But I just read that traveling might be hard before your wife gets her PR card which takes 8 weeks. I guess you can't just travel with the COPR if you aren't from a visa exempt country. But I don't remember the details. It was in the Mexico thread a few pages back if you're interested.

I suppose the most anxious part is not knowing if we can actually leave together as a family. If the visa is confirmed, it will release a lot of stress, thus, I can stand another few months of life in China. Besides, we would be able to save a lot more money, so I think it makes sense. My future employer in Canada is flexible, so that won't be an issue.

CSQ has nothing to do with wait, it's good to do it but it's just a formality they only need to have it when they issue the visa. This is information from my lawyers.

First of all congrats misskay and the rest who got some news going.

As for StephC... belated happy birthday!

I'll be calling CIC tom again to check before I try to make any moves. If ever, what can the MP do for us by the way? What did you write in your letter to the MP?

Today is my baby's 3rd month birthday and my birthday is coming in 2 days hopefully I receive delightful news by then.

Keeping my spirits and hopes up.

Hey FS,

I think in your case it's not a matter of IF the visa is confirmed, but more so - WHEN the visa is confirmed. There is no reason why they would not give you a visa, you have a straightforward case - so you can relax already now! :-)
Cheers,
