Steph: Don't worry about contacting an MP, you should be contacting your MP. I finally emailed mine tonight because I sent on the 18th of May and they told me just yesterday that they haven't even opened it at all and they are supposedly in June... It's high time we contact our MP.

Just an idea ladies, not sure how much pressure you want to apply but, if you arent getting much help from your MP, you could go to the CBC with ur story. I would think they would jump all over it... jus sayin

Hi guys I'm still alive... yet with no word at all... I just stopped looking at it everyday because I am getting frustrated... they promised me to check everyday by end of August and tomorrow is the last day of August... If I don't get any answer tomorrow... I really don't know what else to do.

The only "consolation" is that you both go to Manilla after that, and indeed it is a fast VO, so I hope that your stage 2 will go fast and smooth, once you get there - soon soon!

Hi Fireluck, it's been a long time for you! I contacted my MP last night via email and they agreed to meet with me so that I could fill out the consent forms so my MP could make an inquiry on my behalf. You should contact your MP also to ask them to inquire for you. Although I don't want to make a big noise about it, I believe the agent responsible for this should be held accountable to CIC. Somebody is not doing their job and that's clear to me. I phoned again today and the call center agent could not assist me any further. I would have spoken to her manager but I had already used up my whole break and was due back at work. I'm not a CIC employee who can slack at their work

Impressive! Sydney is such a fast VO... you'll probably be the first one to get the PR in the APril group - well done, you're almost at the end, as it looks like Sydney only request the passport when they're ready to issue the visa...

that must be really frustrating, can't imagine how you feel after waiting so long - i really really hope that the stage 2 process will make it up to you, with a smooth sailing through the second part of the process, and a quick decision! Everytime I see that you have posted in the April thread I hope it's because you got the approval... so I can't begin to imagine how you feel.
