Call them between 8:17am and 8:20am by dialling 1-2-0 they will keep u on hold for 10 min then an agent will talk to u. i have called them several times and they always answer my call.

Tried that. No luck! I just get the same message EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. "The agents are busy please call again later..."

They don't put you on hold or anything. I have tried every time slot of the day and have been calling since last week everyday. No luck!

I have received a letter confirming that my processing is over in Canada and that my file has to transferred to New Delhi. How much time will it take for them to send me a letter for my passport and then what is the procedure once the passport is sent..how much more do I have to wait to get my visa..is there anything else that I would have to do in terms of documentation?.......I recently got married and have applied for PR....

Hi,
Most likely you will receive a request to submit you passport within a month. In my case it was 26 days after i received my AOR.
I am not sure how much it would take to receive a visa, Immigration Canada websites states it takes about 8 months for Stage2
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp but in most cases the visa is issued much earlier.
Keep checking you email & ECAS for updates.

Thank you guys - I literally shed a few tears as I read those words. I know it's only Stage 1 but all the fear, anxiety and stress of 106 exhausting days just bubbled up at once.

I am still crossing my fingers for those still waiting - and promise it's going to be worth the wait when you do get the news.
