Interesting that your PR says medical received before you got approval. That is not something I have seen before.

You won't see In Process with the sponsorship app. It will just flip to DM. I am thinking that maybe since you see the medical thing that you have been approved and a letter mailed and ecas was not updated to DM yet.

I do hope so... It says for Permanent Residence:

"We received XXXXX's application for permanent residence on April 11, 2012.

Medical results have been received."

For sponsorship:

"We received your application to sponsor XXXXXX on April 11, 2012. "

Got the good news today . After calling the Mississauga office for 2 weeks, every day, I finally got through to an agent at 3:30 pm. They found me in the system and told me that I got approved and that they are going to send the file to the VO soon enough. Also they said that the letter of sponsorship approval will arrive in 10-15 days. Thank you for all the help. :-*

Let's be more optimistic and skip the AOR's I waited and waited for one I never received the Aprroval was much sweeter! Looking @ the spreadsheet the rest should be done by next week and right onto May! GL all!

Breaking News! The approval email has finally arrived from Ottawa office but it was sent to my wife the principal applicant. The email was sent yesterday july 27 at 11:40am but she just read it today and forwarded the mail to me. I was happy but surprised that the mail went to my wife instead of me as her sponsor. Here is my timeline to be please added to the sheet.

Congratulations BBCCanada, that's excellent news ( and rare to see approval news during the week end on the thread...) - also a bit weird that it was sent to your wife and not you, but as long as you got the news, then it's great! enjoy the week end!
