I think it takes just few hours for first stage approval so why should we have to wait for 3 months. After i got approved, i went into the e-cas but there was absolutely nothing about my family class sponsorship. The ony information there was my citizenship information which occurred 10 years ago.

while I agree bbcanada that 3 months is too long...don't forget we are a small number of people here who apply there are thousands more who are not on this forum and now with all the cuts to civil servents I doubt they are worrying about us when they are worrying about who is going and who is staying....not that I am defending CIC because my approval was 1 week shy of 4 months but there should be some understanding......and ecas is updated every few days......

There is a long wait because there are thousands of apps to get through.

At least things are moving forward at a reasonably steady rate. You havn't got the problems that Febuary had, when nothing moved for a month!

Good luck - you will hear soon! they are working on 30th April applications, so yours has probably been opened already, maybe a letter is on its way from Canada... it feels like it takes for ages ( and somehow - it does!) but you'll hear from CIC very soon - keeping my fingers crossed for you!
