If Ottawa keep going, the early Aprilicants should start hearing in the next few weeks.

I absolutely agree, I so hope there will be plenty of like minded people when we finally land.

We go through the same emotions...and i think when both spouses are still able to work it adds less stress...when your spouse is unable to work the anger and all the other emotions are hard to deal with... this site has help us all so much and some of us have become good friends....It's all a huge sacrifice for everyone but it's so worth it in the end!

Updated..82 days and Working on applications received on February 29, 2012 ..which is the last day of Feb. Since March's group has been transfered to Ottawa ... what will be next? are they going to start working on applications received on April?

Well, it seems the first few days of March haven't heard back yet. Maybe part of March is in Mississauga and the rest in Ottawa?

Hi everyone! coming out of lurking and finally introducing myself.... have been reading the forum for a few months now and got lots of information when filling and gathering our app. I am American my spouse is Canadian. We have been together 13 yrs and have 2 sons together (both have dual citizenship since birth) we just married April 7th 2012. I am currently in Canada on a visitor's visa which is good till Dec. 19th so hoping to have something from CIC so that I can provide proof when applying for an extension. We mailed our app April 23rd. Here's to a quick n pain free app process for all of us!

dont know how cic has sorted the applications. few with Mississauga and few with Ottawa.

No one knows, really. I'd avoid speculating about it, and just hope for a speedy process for us all

Hey guys! I've been MIA this past week.. my husband has been visiting to celebrate our "meet-iversary" and so I've been kinda preoccupied

I just saw the processing time update. I got a little excited because we are getting SO close guys!

If we get sponsorship approval...does the second step also check our papers again or they just work on dependents papers.

Sunshine, yes its getting exciting, the march apps are coming through Ottawa well, don't know where this leaves April though. Theres no suggestion where they are being processed!?
