I too have been calling the CiC all day, with no success at all
I also would like to know if there is an easier way to contact without the automated system, I memorized the automation 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 (0) for agent ... sigh ...

I pressed 1 for English, then 1 again and then 0 which transfers to you speak to an agent. Don't even listen to what she's saying.. just press 1, 1 and then 0 ;D

I was told ( dont remember by who ), that if I did that I'd get a general agent, where as if I went through the automation system to the part where they talk about international spousal sponsorship, I'd get an agent how specializes in that department ... I have no idea if that's true or not .. but from now on, I'm doing it your way

I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it always worked for me. I think I tried going through the automated system once but it takes way too long when you go through listening to all the options only to get told that the line is busy and try again.

We were approved today for part 1!! Our application was received on 25 April and we received an email today from CIC Ottawa saying our application has been forwarded to Delhi!! What a relief!!!

Can you guys who have gotten your AOR's please list the time in which you got your emails .. please and thank you .... I check my email a 100 times a day, and I would like to know ifs its at any time, or specific times people are getting their emails.

Regarding AOR, I haven't received AOR / Approval by email for sponsorship. I came to know about the approval by calling CIC agents.
