First good news this morning (Actually my b'day gift), ECAS updated saying 'Decesion made' and they sent me letter on July 19th.

Cant ask for a better birthday gift

Recd AOR on 18th July and today first time ECAS was updated saying that they recd the application on 19th July.

But still no approval :-(

Any idea how long it will take??? Do they first update ECAS and then send approval or vice versa????

How everyone got approvals, emails or mails????

congrats on the AOR.......approval will be anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks...and it may come be email or snail mail.....so not too much longer for the completion of stage 1!!!!!!!

GREAT NEWS! they recieved our application!!!! I didnt get AOR but I did log in to our ecas with our client ID, I am sooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a client Id because my spouse has applied and is here in Canada on a multiple entry visitor visa so we found out our client number when we called CIC. So if you applied to come to Canada in the past you should have one too! Up until today I could not see our e-cas though

Not too long. As long as CIC has a better week productivity wise, you should hear something by the end of this week.. or early next week

Still no response on April 12th application. 2 weeks since AOR - can't get a human on the phone at CIC.
