i just send it my full set of documents to CHC London.i am worried abt 2 imp things.

1. my all Educations documents(Marksheet & Degree) are notarized copy (Govt Notary Advocate) in simple envolep not a university sealed envolep.

2. POF is Account Balance Confirmation Letter from Govt Bank on Bank Letter head with stamp by Bank.(bcoz i deposit money this month only.so i cant take 3 months banks stmt.this money is mine not a borrowed one.i will maintain this money in my a/c for next few months till the time i get visa)


seniors plz confirm that i am ok for both points or not. ??? is this sufficient to get cleanrace for next stage or they will reject my case. :-\

I'm so excited!!! My credit card was just debited a few minutes ago, which means that they're working on applications from the 28th as you've been saying. This is just such a huge relief!! What's the latest turn-around time with regards to receiving your first AOR after the debit?

This forum has kept me sane - thanks so much for all this ongoing information that allowed me not to panic and just wait for my turn.

i have one question in regards to getting the employment contract..

As is live in Kuwait and due to the Kuwaitization policy in this country... which states that all companies need a set percentage of locals i.e Kuwaities, my company regisetered a company called GLS. Now this company GLS belongs under the unberalla of the company i work for called CLS. My expericence/reference letter is on a CLS letter head and states that i work for CLS under the workpermit/ residency of GLS.

i was wondering if i need to send in my work contract as i signed up for GLS on the contract ?

or

can i just send in the CLS ref/experience letter accross without the GLS contract as this might confuse the visa officer

note: CLS ref letter is as per the requirement for london VO and dated july 17 2010 and i also have the business card of My Immediate manager who has signed the document.

Hi Gavi,

The purpose is to lead the VO through a very uncomplicated assessment of your documents. Which is easy for us to understand,it may not be same for the VO.

Add in your contract. Write a coverletter and explain how both CLS and GLS are related. In clear words explain you work for CLS and thus the corresponding Reference letter from CLS. I am sure you will have more informations and supporting docs to add in your cover letter. Maintain a Annex type of profile.

Congratulations for sending full docs.


Was is it not required to provide 3 months bank statement for your CHC? If not then I guess you are ok. Since you say that you deposited that money this month so it is a "Sudden deposit". So prepare to collect documents which will be proofs of your statement that 'the money is yours'. So may be asked to provide evidence.

I have heard for CHC it is ok to send Notarised copy of transcripts.

Hi Mitali

Don't forget that CIC has a "LOCK IN DATE", therefore the Masters may not be considered as it was received after that Lock In Date.

Just my thoughts. Anyone with any other info, please feel free to correct.

It is ok to 'update' your applications and add new information when you send Full docs to CHC.

Sameer is fine to add his MSC degree.

the degree in not in hand yet, but will be soon in 2 months period... as u say that i put sum supporting docs which shows my achievement but i can not... at CHC London web site it is clearly illustrated that no provision certificates or letters will be accepted.. original degree and transcripts are must....

so i think i must wait for my degree as i have more than 3 months time remaining to submit my full application. .... what you say..?

Hi Sameer,

Yes, ofcourse... you should wait to get your degree as it is more important to show your upgraded qualification instead of sending your application sooner. And moreover you will still be within the cutoff 120d limit. You would also prove to the VO that you can multitask which is the buzz word here.

Also mention in your cover letter in subtle words that you were awarded your MCS degree while you worked.

Secondly, dont ever relax on the iELTS exam which you are scheduled to write. Write the test as if that is that your lifeline. You can not let your guard down just because you got an additional degree and some points. You never know how your application will be judged and on what basis.

Get the BEST scores for IELTS... all the Best to you. Go for it.

I have a question also-
At present, I have applied from India and I expect to receive AOR in coming weeks and I will hopefully be asked to submit full documents to ND visa office. But, I may move to US in a couple of months. What will happen then? Can I ask VO to transfer my case? Can I request CIO for submission of documents in US office instead of ND? I would appreciate your inputs... Please help me seniors.......
