Cogratulations Pinkureenu and Sushi on getting first A.O.R.You are lucky persons.
Saki,Mitali and all form members,
It looks that CIO and CIC are looking to reject cases for either on pretext or other.As it is experienced from last few posts like cases rejected due to ielts score,buisness card of employer not attached etc etc.I don't understand that why they are doing so.By applying for immigration,our progress in India is stagnated as they are taking lot of time to decide for each application.I mean to say that we are in two boats and unable to decide to go ahead in India because our further progress involves funds,plans,infrastructure,man power etc.Their are many people waiting for 80 months.Its really mind boggling situation.Pls advise that how we people are to act.

Hi Chander,

You have touched upon a bleeding vein. And it hurts.. but at the sametime think it from the Canadian Govt's perspective. Firstly, they have not invited us to IMMIGRATE ..it is our own desicion and we have to go by their rules. I am sure even Indian Govt would have taken strategies to protect her own country people first.

As you rightly pointed out ppl with simplified applications are still waiting but nothing can be done except wait.

But don't worry.....it is indeed a time consuming and painful process but you will find a way to your dreamland. Have faith and send out "GOOD' vibes to the Canadian Immigration Visa officers, so that they may expedite everyone's application smoothly.

Hi Chander,

I know what you mean... I feel like -"Oh, only if I had the power" I would change the world for now esp the Immigration rules in favor of all Immigrants. But alas,that's not to be.

Good that you mentioned that case who got his visa in 5 months from ND CHC. You must have also noticed that in that same post it was mentioned that the applicant had taken his time to diligently prepare his docs not to mention that he got EXTRA LUCKY.

That's the reason why in all my posts, I elaborately describe my answers. While I know that many are well conversant with rules but it is also intended for the Newbie's who are new to this whole game of Cat and Mouse.

there are different companies who takes IELTS test.
Out of 5 different companies only two are working in pakistan
one is British Council and the second ie AEO
fee for IELTS taken by British Council is rs 10000 while 12000 in AEO
both are Pro-metric centers
some ppl believe that AEO organization gives extra band in ielts test
thats y they prefer to give paper in AEO
but its wrong
both the centers are maintaining same standard for compiling results
from AEO only one advantage you can get that is the date of paper

Chander thank you. wish u good luck too. however the pain is still same myside as u know lots of news about rejection even with small issues. for me also i dont have payslip but i am trying to convince them with my bank transaction where my college deposited my salary. i hope it will work but we never know. and also tax return paper, group certificate under company name.trying my best rest is up to god.

Yes I have same information to share as alizia has provided. but fees is change British Council has increased from 10000 to 12000 and AEO from 12000 to 14000 in July 2010.
British Council takes speeking first then rest parts
