Applications of FSW PhD Stream and Quebec Skilled workers are being processed, but it seems like that CPP-Ottawa has forgotten about FSW applications from Buffalo under MI-2 and MI-3 applicants. For many applicants third year of wait has started and no medicals yet.
Lets request Jason Kenney (email him or twitter) to look for our applications too.

A friend of mine who has applied in Dec 2010, has received an email from cic requesting for some extra information such as CV .
Has anybody seen something like that before?what does it mean? Is it a good sign? I would like to think that it means he is gonna receive his MR soon !

Anyone have any idea when will ottawa start looking at our cases? I am october 2011 applicant and dont have any hope that my file will be processed by this year

Yes...looks like work has not started on FSW in Ottawa yet....I saw only Nadeem, April 2011 applicant get MR a few days back..FSW2....his is probably the only file to get MR atleast on this forum...fromthe tranferred cases...no other movement...also read about CPPO asking for updated forms and documents from QSW applicants..not really sure when things will start moving again.

Don't think they have touched many files - was told my file has not been assigned but background checks from outside Canada is complete while RCMP checks are in process.
