Initially we'll get it through email....... so lets wait n stick to our INBOX ;)

CIC require the card to be valid for alteast next 6 months as they will charge it betwen 45-60 days and there should be funds available otherwise transaction will not go through.

You have already submitted the docs on the basis of you old ielts result so you dont have to re take it unless you want to get better result for more points.

Thank you Saki.
I have already achieved 16 out of 16 and according to your respond itsnot necessary to take another test and thas great. Since in Local Office Guide page is saied your IELTS should be valid at least for one year upon submission, I wan not sure which submission they mean. Initial documents to sydney or full documents to Local visa office.

No worries. With your Ielts result its better to confirm with senior members as well because i told you what i know so its better to confirm it with someone else as well.

Good Luck

Hi All,

I'm finding it really difficult to understand that why do we have to send notarised copy of certain documents when you can send original when it is a cheaper option than to get the documents notarised. (I understand that you would not get your original back).

I find it really expensive in UK to get all the photocopied documents notarised. (i.e. £40 per document). It's a reap off.

CHC, London has mentioned clearly that - Do not send originals unless otherwise stated and asked to send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates, which must be originals.

Can anyone please advise me what to do? I understand that final resort is to get notary done but is there any alternate to this?

Seniors please advise.

Many Thanks
