I applied for NOC 2121 ( I have finished my PHD recently)
and I have written IELTS and attached test results along with the application and at the same time I have written a letter (plus my research articles published) to support my English language skills.
So keeping my fingers crossed

I just needed to speak out, because I feel so stressed in waiting. I have a booboo in our application, Instead of writing London for Visa Office, I wrote Abu Dhabi(we are working in Dubai)…I just read that there is a case like mine and cio ns sent the document and asked that this info be amended. I know that this is not rejection but am just frustrated with the lost time. anyway, I am just venting out my frustration…hehehe, just needed to express myself so that this bugging feeling will go away and hopefully be replaced with acceptance of that fact. am just waiting for the e-mail confirmation of cio ns, then I have to resend if needed.

Does anyone's credit card been debited ? I saw there are some people applied in mid march and there card has been debited. So wondering if there is any lucky one in our april batch ?

When its debited, does it mean that we will definely recieve the AOR e-mail?

pretty much yes but there are cases where immi has rejected even after debiting and has refunded them the money in the form of cheque.

hi haral, the reason i found out was i read it in one of the thread.. i reviewed a copy of of the file i submitted and realized i made the same mistake. anyway as what i read, the document was sent back i think within 2 months after it has been received. cio has asked the applicant to amend that particular info.

Both of you are advised "Refill" the form which you made mistake, and send it via courier on urgent bases along a cover letter indicating that particular mistake. Your documents should be there within 7 days, that would save you from all stuff in case application sent back.

thanks mahharrouf for your advise, i will try this out...i hope it works. will courier it out tomorrow!!! initially i just planned to painstakingly wait for it to come back...

Hai Saki,
i have sent my application with the payment option through Credit card.They haven't charged me yet. What i have observed from the March applicant's were that those who have selected credit card option; it's been charged after 35-50 days, if you have applied from india.

I have not got any AOR yet even my application was recieved on 19th April 2010, tell me when I expect?

I think you are being too optimistic.
Mine was received on 19th April too. If accepted, we should be looking at receiving AOR around early to mid-june.
Of note, there are luckier people from March,2010 group whose credit cards have been debited within 3 weeks of date of receipt by NS.
