Friends, I collected my passport today from the USPS office. The package has passport with visa, COPR and some informational documents. The visa validity is until 5/20/2011, which is one year from the date of my medicals.

I would like to thank all my friends here for their continuous support and inspiration. Without you guys, my journey would have not been so smooth.

Dude congratulation.... welcome to Canada.. You must have been tierd after this big rollocoster ride. Relax your self for a while, u might have to start another journey. Have a great day...

Hey garian thanks for the support,
But no birthday gift as yet,my birthday passed last week on 8th july but unfortunately still c those two words "Recieved by office"
Im really in a kindaa of frustrated state..i really don't want to get irritated and losse it all but just hoping for some good news next week for sure,
i also see development in other ppl's cases having the same AOR date so it's really making me patience less,
rest just praying to god,,,got so long way to go after that change too..
SO what about you ,when are u going for ur medicals..

Our application has been "In Process" since early June, 2010. We are waiting for our Med requests. Any one have any feedback as to how long this process may take? I also have read some conflicting posts regarding delivery of the Med requests - are they sent by mail or e-mail or both?

I have been pretty much a silent observer of this thread... I joined a bit late, but have seen it grow from about 50 pages to 150 pages now. Congratulations to all who have got their passports with the PR visa stamped on it. The support and information we share with each other is amazing.
