You'll get a reply from 2 and half months to three months

I am thinking - there were a lot of applications in July and August, and much less in September and October, so there is a chance they will process our applications sooner.

No, i dont know the procedure ... my file has also reached CIC on 2nd Sep 2011 same as yours ... did u reiceve any response from CIC yet or ur BD has been encashed yet ?

My bd still not encashed and no response from cic even I did not send e mail for them.

it does not matter if its still not encashed, as mine is not yet also n i have asked many members here, they say 3 months its very normal time for it but CIC encash BD with in two months of its issuance as they do have the knowledge of its expiry. Both being in different NOC codes i dont know what would be outcome to our files but i hope our BD should get encashed by now as now the expiry is approaching. My BD was issued on 22nd Aug 2011. I will check tommorow again the status whether its encashed or not. fingers crossed
