I also have 2 applications running at the same time....the first one was filed in Feb 2008 and the second one in Nov 2010....when I chk ecas...it shows "in process" for the first one and "RBVO" for the second one....address has gone missing a couple of days back....

Now....why did I file 2 applications....cos as time passed...I got experience in one of the new categories (which was supposed to be given priority)....anyways....I asked a few ppl and chked with canadavisa.com office (who by the way are my consultants for the first application) and was told it doesnt matter how many applications u send...

Even on ecas its says "Status of Application(s)"

To be honest...am still not sure what I should do....any suggestions?? Should I be pulling one application out??

Yes, Even on ecas its says "Status of Application(s)"

Because for rest of your life you will be using a same UCI number. So by Application(s) they mean applications for different cases (PR card renew application, Citizenship application, etc).

Thanks

No, first consult some canadian immigration expert. I am not sure, I am not an expert. I am just telling you what I have experienced and what I have heard from others.

Thanks

Just hang on to both till VO tells you to withdraw one application......Mandie

IMO that is not the case since all they would do is remove the option to change the address online not the whole address. I think they want people to know what adress they have in the system in case they have any errors.

I think soo many address have disapeared because they are doing some maintenance.

Interesting changes to the ecas today. Had to login with my immigration file number (starting with B) instead as apparently the Client ID was not in the right format.

The reason they've got rid of the address is because people are using ecas to change their address, which is wrong, you have to fax the VO your new address otherwise they won't get it.

Hi all,

I am a newbie in this forum and I am very glad to get to know you guys who are in the same channel with me. The waiting game is usually not nice and it is good to have companies. I would like to register in the spreadsheet as follow:

NOC: 1122
CIO file receipt: March 3
Credit card withdrawal: April 5
PER: April 25
RBVO (Buffalo): May 3
IELTS: sent with package
PCCs: sent with package
In Process: waiting
Medical request: waiting
Visa: waiting
Landing: Have stayed in Alberta for one year

I would like to ask Montrealgirl and Pradeep if you two could tell me the issuance dates of your PCCs. Does Buffalo ask you to send new PCCs? Because our PCCs are older than 3 months when we send them to CIO so I am a little bit concerned about them.

The address in my Ecas also disappeared today. Either it is a bug to everyone or it may precede good news from Buffalo. Let's hope guys.

Thank you and my best wishes for all of us^^

Hi there,
I would like to correct my NOC, it is 8222. I have worked different jobs and included them in the application, and the 1st list in my application is 8222. Thank you:)

It's fine to have 2 applications running. I'm just not sure at which stage you have to withdraw one of them. If I were you I would withdraw one only after I would get MR from the other.

sorry by mistake I posted twice...

That is the prudent thing to do as this has been the case of some forum members. When CIC is going to make decision on one (probably the one in process), it will as you to windraw the other application. If having both application was a problem, they would have indicated that long ago. The only thing they won't do is make decision on both....wait for their instruction regarding this. Please don't stress yourself unnecessarily...Mandie
