I wonder why is everyone so desperate to go to Canada. I mean we all want to go there for a better life, and better future of our children, but what is the hurry. Why are people checking e-mails / e-cas 20 times a day and stuff like that.

The very fact that all of our in this forum, means we are (mostly) FSW1 applicants, which means we DO NOT have job offers. What we do have is experience in one of the trades, that the Government feels need people.

What i know, and have heard from friends and family in Canada is that the unemployment rate in Canada is at an all time high (no wonder the caps on immigration are in) and CAD at this point being stronger than USD is not helping the economy either.

I personally feel that the decision to move to Canada, on a long term, is quite good. However this might not be the right time to move.

Hence sit pretty, have patience and it would happen when it has to happen. Later the better

It may or may not be the right time for everyone but it is the right time for myself and my family. It is hard not to check every day, maybe multiple times as each step is a step along the way in what is a life changing decision. I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side but at least I know I will be able to rasie my children without fear and provide a decent future for them, something that is seriously lacking in this country of mine. I know that moving to Canada will open their eyes that there is a big world out there and it is theirs for the taking.

It says on CIC website that if the similar case is pending, do not file another application. unless you get denial on the first application.

Now the best bet is to pray that both application do not come to the same stage at any point during the process. Because if it happens, It'll create confusion and as we all know immigration department all around the world hate confusion and in most cases reject the application.

I would say, just pray. And InshAllah things will be fine. But if talk logically, things are not that straight. But God needs no logic.

Please Maani1985 where did you read in CIC website that filing another application is not allowed?!! are you sure?!!

To Buffalo Friends,

My address suddenly disappear at 9:08am this monring. I checked on 9:06am, still there then my husband logged into E-Cas minutes after (as we daily check at our work), it suddenly disappeared. Think it might mean something? My heart is beating fast now.

after 4 months of no activity at all in my e-cas, always showing in process and the same date of my PER is in both lines, Today my address has disappeared.

You will get new file number for your post june application.

Do not worry ..one can file new application. Have you mentioned in your post june application about your old application ?

you will get PER soon.Lets hope for best regarding the processing time of your applications.

Hi!

I applied first in may 2010 (pre june). Got my first AOR and 2nd AOR.

I applied again in June 2011 (post june). I haven't received PER yet.

In my ecas status when I use my first file number it shows my both applications.

1st application is "received by visa office"

2nd application is "application received"

I want to know will I get any PER for my 2nd application or any new file number?? or it will stay the same file number??

Can any body shed light on that? Whats gonna happen? Will they process my application faster as post june applicant or only consider my pre june application.


I have not received any PER for my post june application. My application was received there on 10 june 2011.

can you tell me what are the conditions in which the refund of fee is done by cio after issuing NER since my bhabhi got less points and got NER and on enquiring about refund they refused to do so according to them her case was lead to processing they also refered some R75(2) i dont know what clause of Ministrial instruction got this description plz help very worried and confused

Interesting changes to the ecas today. Had to login with my immigration file number (starting with B) instead as apparently the Client ID was not in the right format.

The reason they've got rid of the address is because people are using ecas to change their address, which is wrong, you have to fax the VO your new address otherwise they won't get it.

In that case it has to be disappeared for everyone, there are some people in another thread, they still have their addresses in e-cas

Can you please tell why did you file two applications?

If you are PA on one and your spouse is PA on second then it fine. Otherwise I need some more info.

I also have 2 applications running at the same time....the first one was filed in Feb 2008 and the second one in Nov 2010....when I chk ecas...it shows "in process" for the first one and "RBVO" for the second one....address has gone missing a couple of days back....

Now....why did I file 2 applications....cos as time passed...I got experience in one of the new categories (which was supposed to be given priority)....anyways....I asked a few ppl and chked with canadavisa.com office (who by the way are my consultants for the first application) and was told it doesnt matter how many applications u send...

Even on ecas its says "Status of Application(s)"

To be honest...am still not sure what I should do....any suggestions?? Should I be pulling one application out??
