yup PCC was included, we used BD, encashment not verified, but the receipt for the payment was dated 1/3/2011. we haven't checked our bank about the encashment.

Hello Om Saif;
Actually I think its the first time for Cairo VO to send medicals without RPRF ... So it is confusing ... Let me think with you about the possibilities:
1- They might have forgotten to send the RPRF
2- There might be a reason that makes them wait. Did they ask for any other documents ? like PCCs / any other kind of certificates / letters / change of family composition / status / ...... ?

In the second case they should put a timeline for you to submit any document (like what they did with me, asking for a PCC from Nigeria) and they have given me 60 days (but they have sent me the RPRF anyway!)

Kindly share more about your situation and we'll try to think together.

So Grasshopper got his visa stamped on 7th April and RPRF fees encashed on 8th April..........Is this a indication of some sort to those whose RPRF fees have already been encashed?? ..........Or it could be that the system bottleneck is making us think otherwise???

On a different note, I had multiple dreams last night -- all indicating a new line added to my ECAS status - "Interview scheduled on May 26, 2011". I have no intention of seeing these dreams turn into a reality.

I guess he is quoting the date from the bank and not VO. Remember everyone had a discrepancy of a few days for our processing fee payments with the BDs to CIO? I suspect the same thing here. It might have been encashed a few days before April 7th.

Yes u r right....my Reply with Medicals proof and RPRF reached vo on 28th same as grasshopper....and my RPRF DD was encashed on 8th...but reciept date is 4th.....and Bankers cheque(Pay order) is almost cash...so IMO VO must have recieved other documents in time...hence decision made and VISA

VO usually are only open normal business hours - Mon to Friday, minus public holidays.

Yes you are right, my AOR is also issued on February 17. Is February 17 an unlucky day for AORs or what? Still guessing......

It is not about unlucky but i am guessing that 17th feb 2nd AOR issuing date people have not received their MR.

Now in this case i need senior people words....

what can be the case???
