Hello Guys, I have recieved my PER on 31/1/2011.

Since then I was trying to follow the status of my application on ECAS, it is still giving me "We are not able to identify you using the information you provided"

Can there be something wrong in the information I enter ?
I sometimes use the UCI (Format 00000000) and other times I use the application file number (E00*******)

Can somebody advise me is this normal and I should wait ?

Thanks

I notice the "Last posted on thread" column has been moved to the end. When it comes to auditing the spreadsheet it's a lot easier if it is at the start so we don't have to keep scrolling back and forth across the page on every check (that's several hundred!).

Therefore can I suggest when we come to do the audit we move the column to the beginning, do the audit, and then move it back again?

We're talking about doing the audit approx twice per month, with the next one due at the end of this month.

If you use UCI, you shall select Client ID number, or else if you use E00, you have to chose Immigration File number, perhaps, most of the applicants are able to see the status just after few days, you have to also put only Surname.

The CIO and the Manila VO seem to be on a roll! Congratulations!

The ND VO seems to be random. We can only speculate at the moment. Hope to hear good news from people soon.

Meanwhile, my eCas doesn't seem to change at all. Its stuck at 'application received at Nova Scotia'.

Fingers crossed!

Hi,

Finally I received my PER dated Feb 21. just to share you guys before I received my PER, I received already a negative assessment for not specifying my date of employment so what i did is i emailed and faxed the CIO office about their assessment and by the way I got this idea from canadajimmy (that's the best thing if your always reading this forum you will know what you should do for this kind of situation, thanks canadajimmy!) to re asses my file because I submitted the right documents to support my work experience and the date of employment. Its really a roller coaster for us but finally we have the awaited PER thanks to CIO and they heard our sentiments about the re assessment of my application....

Thanks guys.. good luck to us..
P.S kindly also update the spreadsheet. thank you...IN PROCESS - ECAS status

Hi congrats for the PER.

A Question to all - I am self employed. have taken letter from the companys I work for but NO SPECIFIC DATE ONLY THE YEAR SINCE I STARTING GIVING MY SERVICES. is it o.k.

Secondly, Should I send the PCC of myself & spouse mentioning that I would send the PCC for my son later as it would take a lot of time to get his PCC as he had to procure it from another country he had visited and stayed for around 9 months. PLS advise as I have to submit my application soon.

Thanks to all.

Hi Wayne, no offences meant, but now I see that what worried most of us NOV PER receiver's is making you worried as well. I have been posting this discrepency regularly but no replies.

Can someone update my details?

I sent an email to Manila VO asking if a Medical Request was already sent to my address. This is because our snail mail here is a very old and sick snail.

Well, they replied, and told me they sent the Medical Request as well as the request for Right of Permanent Residence fee last Feb 7, 2011!!!

The sad thing is, I still have not yet received the mail..

i finally have my 2nd AOR!!!!!!!!! :D

Erm, no offence taken? :)

Basically, for post-June-26 applicants, the volume of work needed to be done by the visa office has drammatically reduced. They do not need to do the final eligibility review, nor do they have to do the points calculation part of selection and admissabilility.

Therefore the discrepency between slow and fast visa offices should in theory be lessened, since there are less steps for a slow visa office to slow things down at. Hmm not sure I worded that very well but I hope you get what I mean :) Once the visa office decides to start processing a post-June-26 application then just decide whether documentation or employment verification checks are needed, based on the how convincing the documentation is, if not then just issue medical requests and begin security checks. I think they send 2nd AOR when they start processing. Hence why for some people there is only a week or two between 2nd AOR and medical requests.

So why the slow down at the other visa offices if they have this similar minimal level of processing to do before sending med requests?

I can only think that the volume of pre-June-26 applications which have already reached the background/security/medicals stage is causing a block on the post-June-26 applications being processed?

Wayne.

Hi - I have turned you purple! At least you know that the medical requests are on their way. I would give it until the start of March, then ask visa office if they can resend them or send them via email because of postal problems.

Congrats anyway!

Wayne.
