hope all the other VOs get their act together and start sending out some information as well. It may be that the other VOs may not send an AOR at all though, this is according to what the webpage of the LONDON VO says. They could possibly ask us for the medicals directly or contact us if there is something they would like to clear up about our applications. Sigh! If only we had all the answers!!! ;D

Hi, that would explain the delays in the others getting the second AOR, however, I remain skeptical that different VOs follow different procedures.

Yet, a small part of me wants to believe any explanation, takes the edge off waiting :D

ECAS seems to be updated already..... No more about medicals received for me.....

Same here, it now only says "We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010."

So after 5 months their ECAS is finally able to tell me what I already knew when the courier delivered my application.
Not exactly cutting edge, is it? ;)

hi all,

i am so happy because i got my PER today. i sent my application NOC 3152 last sept 28, 2010 and was received by CIO Oct 4, 2010. :)

God bless us all.

dcho
congrates :)
So happy to see that CIC finally started to send PER to Oct applicants :)
Someone put dcho's info on the spreadsheet pls.

I am a little confused about looking up the status:

The first page says "In Process"

To which do I look up Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada status or Application for Permanent Residence - Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia status?

Coz based on that IN PROCESS means different things. And i know sure as hell that it's not past the VO check so soon as indicated in the Application for Permanent Residence - Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia status

To further confuse issues - Should we be looking up IN PROCESS at all or the next page which says "we received your application ..."

I know there's been quite a bit of back and forth on this...just thought I'd check.

E-cas status has now medical received removed but it still says -

We received your application for permanent residence on August 5, 2010.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 23, 2010.

I wonder how many of our forumers have the additional second line mentioned like mine.

Not me ... but I wonder, is this NDs way of saying we have your file instead of sending you a second AOR

Added his details ....but incomplete...... adhered to your request... ;) ;)!!!

We have to wait and see. It could be as ND was leading the way for PERs and now it has gone silent regarding second AOR.

I hope so for all remain

I have added the link to my blog under "BLOGROLL", which is linked in my signature. The reason I no longer link the spreadsheet directly is that the blog holds a lot more information therefore linking to this is far more useful.

October applicants should start receiving PERs regularly soon, so my guess for November applicants is some time during March.

Hi All,

Will the Additional Family Background be completed also by the spouse (accompanying or not) & children 18 yrs old & above (accompanying or not)? Meaning if we are three in the family (1 child 18 yrs old below, husband & wife) then we need to submit 2 sets of form for the Additional Family Background one for the applicant & 1 for the spouse?

The instructions are quite misleading.

Thanks again.

Hello,

Nice to be back in this thread. Just got my returned docs from our main post office. A very frustrating day since I just got a very very minor mistake. The CIO was asking for a schedule 1 background to be completed by my spouse. I've overlooked this one co'z I was thinking that this form will only be completed by the principal applicant alone & not the spouse & any accompanying child 18 yrs old & above. Just a very slight misunderstanding on the instructions.

I shall say very frustrating since we could have resubmitted our applications even the following day we received the docs to make it to the NOC 1122 cap limit had we received it earlier.
