Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi All,

Will the Additional Family Background be completed also by the spouse (accompanying or not) & children 18 yrs old & above (accompanying or not)? Meaning if we are three in the family (1 child 18 yrs old below, husband & wife) then we need to submit 2 sets of form for the Additional Family Background one for the applicant & 1 for the spouse?


The instructions are quite misleading.

Hello Annjay..... that was exactly the reason why my first application was returned :'(.... I thought, only I, as the applicant who needs to fill up the Additional Family Background Form....good thing I received my application kit from CIC around three weeks after..... well, that's the price we have to pay if we do things our own way ;D...

we have some friends from manila vo received 2nd AOR so this is somthing

As Amro has said, Manila office is already active with 2nd AOR and so with background checks. They are highlighted with a different colour in the spreadsheet. (I agree with other forum member that the differentiation in colour is not very good and we should choose a better colour).

We expect (hope in short) other VO's to be active by end of this month.

No. Only Manila VO is active with 2nd AOr's as of now. Every one else is waiting.

HI Paradis1975, I had also received similar reply from CIC without any ref number. I got my PER in a few days after that. So dont worry.

Yes i know that but i thought you were getting anxious about you not having a reference number on your query and someone else had it. My comment was, it doesnt matter. You will get your PER when it is due.
