Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

E-cas status has now medical received removed but it still says -

We received your application for permanent residence on August 5, 2010.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 23, 2010.

I wonder how many of our forumers have the additional second line mentioned like mine.

I have only the first line in my status

If I am not wrong, you got your PER on 24th Nov. So the date mention in your status (23rd NOV) is bit confusing. As per my understanding, CIO sent our applications to VO after they sent PER. Even if the VO received your application in one day, they still can’t start processing on 23rd Nov

As you received your PER on 23 Nov, i assume by this second line CIC actually meant your eligibilty review has been completed on 23 Nov,which is positive and now they will start processing(sending your files to VO---verification---medical etc)

Exactly, it indicates that CIO/CHC consider "IN PROCESS" to mean "you passed your eligibility review" and sending the application to VO and awaiting security/background check are part of the process.

There I think "IN PROCESS" to people who already got their PER doesn't mean a great deal.

I think 2nd AOR is far more indicative of the state of the application, because I think visa office issue 2nd AOR once they begin your security/background/verification checks.

Congrats guys. The PER blue colour on the spreadsheet is becoming more and more fragemented. Till end august, it went quite as per the spreadsheet. Till end september, few pockets were emerging (Me, Queencougar, etc) but now, October seems to be all over the place.

In the words of the former Irish Prime Minister, the jumpiness is getting jumpier. ;D
