Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Just want to find out how VOs determine bring forward dates (BFD)? is there a particular way if knowing applicants' BFDs? Thanks....Mandie

No I have never heard of it. But if you find something let me know. I'm tired of Buffalo. My Caips have not arrived. They probably will arrive in 2 weeks.

Me neither. It's been so disheartening visiting this forum to watch every other VO process apps while ours collect dust in Buffalo since July. A few days back was my application's birthday and 8 month anniversary of collecting dust! I realize that I should be in the next group processed, but worry about shifting priorities of the Buffalo VO. But enough groaning...

I've been wishing I'd ordered CAIPS back in August. Have any other September/October '10 applicants received CAIPS? If so, what was of interest? If no one has, I'll go ahead and order them.

Also, I think I read something on here a long time ago about some success by contacting the local Canadian Consulate at the closest Canadian Embassy and having the Consulate contact Buffalo. It seems like this was successful. Anyone recommend this course of action or remember what I'm talking about?

i got my visa today, the granted date showing on Visa is 11th of OCt. my eCAS status is Decision made when it was changed on 16th Oct.

Hi there,

I applied for CAIPS notes and received them a couple of weeks ago. They were GCMS notes.
Unfortunately I did not see any progress at all.
From what I understand they have not made any updates to my file since I got that PER whatever in Feb/March.

I can share more specifics from it but in essence spending time reading it over and over only frustrates me.
The only piece of information I received from the GCMS was a paper file number in addition to the E####### number that was provided in the PER letter.
I applied on Oct 18, 2010.

The pdf I received as the notes does not allow me to copy text so I'll type some of the information here.

Please do let me know if there are any codes here that make any more sense.

Fraudsters who borrow funds and do other things is what slows down genuine people like QC so if we can stop encouraging them, it will only do good.

Why does this issue keep cropping up here? There's a couple of things we all need to understand:

1. Fraud will never go away. A fraud-free immigration system is impossible.
2. VO's will ALWAYS try to identify & investigate fraud. Therefore a certain percentage of VO time will always be used for anti-fraud purposes.

So pointing fingers or making a big deal about individual cases is completely moot. The VO's are going to dedicate time to anti-fraud investigation regardless of whether it really exists or not.

Could you make any sense of the "Updated Date 2011/02/10 14:53:26"? Some people received fingerprint requests a while back. Where you one of them? Just thinking out loud.

As you said there isn't much in your file, mine probably looks the same, I will get it in a month... I just don't understand, if our files are sitting somewhere gathering dust, why then are some applicants contacted to submit further documentation? For example Kamboozia, if I remember correctly, was contacted and asked to submit some things... Wonder what his CAIPs looks like.

One thing is for sure, the workload at Buffalo has completely overwhelmed the staff. They first had to shut down the office for an entire week earlier this year to catch up, then they change processing time for pre june 2010 applicants from 17 months to 21, and now it seems they are sending some applications to the Detroit office for processing... God help us, everyone

Can't believe FBI has still not sent you your PCCs. Every time I requested mine it took about 8 to 10 weeks... I'm certain it is on its way. I have a hunch the rest of us Buffalo people waiting to get into processing, will get it once your application is "Decision Made." I base this on the fact that you were the last person to go into processing, after that it all stopped... So here is to you getting your visa as soon as possible, Avi ;D ;D

i cannot stop laughing after reading your post cam
as per FBI they have complete the processing of my pcc on 11 oct but dont know when it was dispatched or has/hasnot been dipatched. i couldnt take a chance as i was nearing my deadline. as per them they have a real heavy workload.. aroung 1000 incoming applications a day...
the first time i applied for pcc it took 8 weeks, the second time 4 weeks and the third time is the longest one.. its already 12 weeks+
