I am in Canada itself right now, CIO submitted - No AOR recv'd... and since my case office will be Buffalo - current time 17 months (expected to rise in months!), can I transfer to my home country which is lesser 6 - 8 months?

Thanks Anil, I've also heard his name on the forum, but I need to know if he was working around 8 November as we are trying to find out if the second application has been lost at CIO....AGAIN as they say they have no record. I have precious little to go on, but was told by courier company someone called Glen signed for it. I will PM the applicants in the tracker who submitted that week, but hoped there might be others not registered in Tracker who could comment.

Thanks for posting it , the below section should not be applicable for post june 25th applicants, rest of the section should apply for the applicants under post june 25th Ministerial Instructions.

Hey Guys I have some news. I had enquired with the ND VO recently about my case and the reply i received was shocking. The have said that the email received by me from CIC on the 23rd of Nov mentions that all the documents has to be submitted to ND VO by 23rd of March 2011 (120 days). I am sure none of us have received any such request from CIC in their Original PER email.

I think all the guys who have been waiting to receive some news from VO should get active and follow up with their respective VO's else all of us hoping and congratulating each other would be in for a "RUDE SHOCK" as they will reject our application and treat the file as closed.

yes mine on 09/11/10...the courier tracking system shows - signed for by Glen....so he was definitely at work this week...check ur inbox..iv sent details....

This is ridiculous :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ I'm not sure why would they require the same documents twice? And what about that whole fuss about the 120 days shave out from the processing time they promised? I have read a email reply from ND VO sometime back that NO documents are to be submitted twice and i'm going to dig that email out in the forum as soon as i can. I request you to attach that email and reply to the same email that you received from the ND VO as to why they are giving contradicting replies to applicants?

Do u mean that, Post June PER received candidates have to send all docs again to VO? My understanding is, CIC will forward the bunch to VO after PER. Pls clarify

Also I got as this message from my VO,Singapore after quary.
They also told me to send documents that are required by CIC letter.
I mailed Vo that cic did not ask me for any more documents , with attaching the mail from CIC,NS.

If I may ask, did CIO mention in the PER sent to you that, all documents sent to them should be forwarded immediately to your VO?. I am sure the CIO would be responsible enough to guide all applicants accordingly, in line with the OP 6 of post June 2010 FSW 1.
If I am not mistaken, this is a repeat of an earlier post, can you paste a copy of the response you got from the ND VO, or was it a phone call?

if you submitted your application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) after June 26, 2010, the entire file, including all your submitted documents, will be forwarded to the visa office for processing. You will not need to submit any additional documents unless specifically asked to do so by the visa office.
Thank you for writing. I trust that this information is of assistance.
